Storyteller. Equally obsessed with pop culture as well as gothic literature. I eat words for breakfast. I was the teenager whose act of rebellion was reading under the covers past bedtime. Couple that with caffeine, and sleep is a myth. Here for diverse Young Adult literature.
I still hate the casting, but this was pretty well done, I have to admit. I was impressed, but that's the point of the trailer. Katniss still doesn't look like a starving sixteen year old. Aren't Gale and Katniss supposed to have gray eyes? Ooh. Gale may not be what I expected, but he's just as yummy. Katniss can have Peeta if she wants. Gale is MINE. All MINE @Rida Got that? I'll fight you for him.
I have to show some love for Team Peeta here. I'm really excited about this movie. The only issue I had with casting is I thought I read that the casting call was specifically for Caucasian actresses, and that seemed weird to me since Katniss was described as someone of pretty vague ethnicity.
So, it bothered me that the choices were limited from the start. Still, I was a fiend for the books. So I've got to give the movies a fair shot.

Dude, I got goosebumps when I saw this, too. I LOVE IT.
Also, jsyk- both the fictional Gale and the one in the movie are MINE.
Unless you're Team Peeta. Then it's not a problem.

I had so very many reservations--until I saw that trailer. Now I just can't wait until March 2012!

I haven't read the book--I know, I know--but I am so looking forward to this movie.
